Background

Shirley Quinones, Esq. was admitted to the Bar of the State of New Jersey and to the U.S. District Court of the State of New Jersey in 1996 and is a Graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law wherein she graduated with a Juris Doctorate Degree.  She was subsequently admitted to Practice before the United States Supreme Court in Washington, DC in April of 2012.  While at Seton Hall University School of Law,  Ms. Quinones worked at the Immigration Law Clinic where she represented indigent clients who were seeking immigration status as well as humanitarian visas.   While attending Law School, Ms. Quinones was also employed on a full-time basis as a Supervising Paralegal at a Major Insurance Defense firm in New York City where she handled all matters involving Asbestos, Superfund Site Contamination Cases, Environmental Pollutants, Maritime Law and insurance and subrogation matters.

In 1988 Ms. Quinones graduated from St. John’s  University in Jamaica, New York with a Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal Studies while employed full time at a Major Insurance Defense Firm in New York City.  She also earned an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts while attending St. John’s University.

Ms. Quinones is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association as well as the American Bar Association.  Ms. Quinones has served on the Attorney Ethics and Disciplinary Board, District IIIA from 2006 through 2010 as well as Conflict Public Defender for Berkeley Township from 2008 through 2011.

Peter J. Cipoletta, Esq. was admitted to the Bar of the State of New Jersey and to the U.S. District Court of the State of New Jersey in 1995 and is a Graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law wherein he graduated with a Juris Doctorate Degree.  He was subsequently admitted to Practice before the United States Supreme Court in Washington, DC in April of 2012. While at Seton Hall University School of Law,  Mr. Cipoletta worked at the Housing Law Clinic where he  represented indigent clients in landlord/tenant matters. While attending Law School Mr. Cipoletta was employed full time at the Union City Police department as a Police Officer.

Mr. Cipoletta retired from the Union City Police Department in December of 2012 after 29 years as a Captain and was involved in all areas of the department.  He worked in the Internal Affairs Division, Juvenile Aid Division, Community Policing, Emergency Services and the Special Services Division.  He was also involved in Contract Negotiations with the Union as well as served as a Union Representative.  He was also the training instructor for the Department.

In 1991, Mr. Cipoletta graduated from New Jersey City University with a Degree in Criminal Justice.

Mr. CIpoletta is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association as well as the American Bar Association.  Mr. Cipoletta also serves as a Foreclosure Mediator in the Ocean County Superior Court.
